Who Makes Hyper Tough Tools?

If you’ve ever been to Walmart, you’d know that there is a lot of cheap stuff available in these stores. You’ll find everything from food items, cutlery, to even tools. Accordingly, there are also high chances that your local Walmart would have Hyper Tough Tools. With that being said, if you still haven’t heard of them, allow us to introduce you to this brand of tools. Not only that, but we will also tell you guys who are behind the manufacturing of Hyper Tough Tools.

What are Hyper Tough Tools?

As implied by its name, Hyper Tough is Walmart’s very own brand of tools and accessories. However, you really shouldn’t underestimate this brand since it doesn’t offer only a couple of tools. As a matter of fact, the entire Hyper Tough line consists of planers, grinders, saws, and drills. Other than that, you’ll also find that the company also deals in files, scrapers, screwdrivers, wrenches, and other such hand tools. If Hyper Tough still hasn’t impressed you, then maybe you should have a look at their cables, toolboxes, and fasteners.

Apart from that, you should also know that this brand isn’t all that new. In fact, it was established back in 1993, so you can see that there’s some history attached to it. Moreover, the best thing about this brand has to be its versatility. It offers a number of tools for a variety of purposes that will help you with everything.

Range of Products

Whether you want to manage your garage or clean your workbench, the Hyper Tough Tools will have you covered. Also, if you happen to do a lot of small jobs such as putting up pictures on walls or putting together furniture, you are sure to love its range of hand tools. If that’s left you in awe, wait till you get to find out about their grass trimmers and lawnmowers.

Up till now, we’ve only mentioned the tools used for everyday tasks. However, Hyper Tough also brings to the table other tools for more robust tasks. Their power tools line consists of cordless drills that will allow you to insert or remove screws without shedding a sweat. Also, belt and sheet sanders are also worth taking a look at so that rough surfaces can be smoothened out with ease. If you plan on doing woodworking projects, you should definitely check out their power saws which will surely save time. Lastly, Hyper Tough also deals with working surfaces such as stands and workbenches.

All in all, this brand offers an entire range of tools that will help you do everything from basic drilling to even woodworking. With that being said, you must know plenty of other brands that deal in the same products. So, let’s see why you prefer Hyper Tough over other such brands.

Why Hyper Tough?

Indeed, there is no doubt that there are several brands that deal in tools and accessories. Accordingly, a person could have a tough time choosing between brands. However, Hyper Tough mainly aims at satisfying the needs of a certain demographic. So, let’s see whether you belong to that group of people or not.

First of all, we have to remember that Hyper Tough Tools are generally quite inexpensive. As a matter of fact, you can even cop their rotatory tool for about $25 ¬¬– yes, the brand is really that cheap. However, on the downside, the cheap rates are at the expense of quality. Accordingly, Hyper Tough Tools won’t always be that high-quality in nature.

Considering these factors, you should go for Hyper Tough if you’re on a short budget but aren’t expecting anything that durable. Nevertheless, we’re not saying that you should always expect low-quality products from Hyper Tough. It’s just that the manufacturing company prioritizes inexpensiveness over quality and that could oftentimes become apparent in their products.

Manufacturing Company

As we mentioned earlier, Hyper Tough Tools are mainly found in Walmart, which also happens to own the brand. With that being said, Walmart is not the company that is behind the manufacturing of these tools. As a matter of fact, most of these products are not even made in the US.

There is a company known as Test Rite Tools that manufactures almost all of the products sold by the Hyper Tough brand. What’s even more interesting is that this company is based in Taiwan and most of the manufacturing takes place there. However, Test Rite Tools does have its North American Headquarters located in New York.

Now you might be wondering if there’s any way to contact Hyper Tough yourself. This could be essential in case you end up buying a broken product or have any other complaint against their brand. So, if need be, customers can always hit up a call at 1-800-840-7856 to make the company know of their issue. Before you make the call, make sure that you’re calling during their working hours which is from 8-5 p.m. EST. Also, also remember that this line doesn’t operate during the weekends either.

With that being said, you’d have to compromise on quality a bit as these tools might not always last that long. If that isn’t an issue, there’s no stopping you from going for the Hyper Tough brand.

In this article, we also learned that the Taiwan-based company known as Test Rite Tools is behind the making of these tools. However, there’s a phone number that we’ve mentioned above which you can contact to register your complaint or report a broken tool. Lastly, if you have any other info regarding where these tools are manufactured, make sure to tell us about it in the comment section below.

  1. I own the gas curved shaft weed trimmer. I am hoping to find out if there is a metal/steel blade that I can convert to instead of string. Because the jobs that I perform require it.
